A biography of legendary surf photographer Ron Stoner co-published
by Chronicle Books and Surfer magazine. Young, socially awkward,
and largely-self taught, his career lasted only a few years -- from
the mid-sixties to the early seventies -- before it was abruptly
ended by drug abuse and the onset of schizophrenia. In 1977
he disappeared while alone in Hawaii, and was never seen again.
