About Your New Friend Brett MacFadden

Brett MacFadden lives in San Francisco, California, and from 2002-2007 was
Senior Designer in the Art and Design Category at Chronicle Books. He received
his MFA in Design from the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, and also
holds a BS in Journalism from Ohio University.

Brett grew up in Silicon Valley and New England, and in addition to living
in Michigan and Ohio for school,he also once lived in Colorado, and once in
Vermont, and once in Pittsburgh (very briefly),and once in New York City,
and for a longer time in Boston. But never in another country, which is too
bad, and remains a life goal. In Boston he worked for an architectural firm
calledBargmann Hendrie + Archetype. Previous to Chronicle, he worked
in the San Francisco studio of Lucille Tenazas.
