AIGA Plates

Plate for a fundraiser supporting the Los Angeles chapter of the
American Institute of Graphic Arts, concepted with my Chronicle.
Books co-worker, Scott Thorpe. Designers were given blank white
plates to decorate as they wish, that would then be auctioned off.
We thought typography is always appropriate for an audience of
designers, and after a morning spent brainstorming various sayings,
settled on straightforward kitsch. The design was created and
painted by Damon Styer of New Bohemian Signs in San Francisco.
